Shopping Cart Exclusively for
PayPal - IPN Interface
June
17, 2004. We have begun development of our shopping
cart designed exclusively for PayPal - IPN interface. Two
of the biggest features of this cart are multiple vendor
selling from a single web portal, and subscription memberships.
Many features of this new application originated at RonaldsRecordClub.Com
- Your Personal Music Valet »
and a new (soon-to-be-announced) Gaming Website. Both of
these sites use IPN one-time & subscription payment
modules.
The Shopping Cart is developed using Perl, HTML-Template
& MySQL.
PayPal - IPN to Remote Server
Interface
June, 2004. In conjunction
with a new project, we have developed a direct interface
from the primary server to any remove server, via HTTPS_POST.
This interface allows us near-realtime remote server update
& return post for a wide variety of business applicaitions,
all at a very reasonable cost. All work has been done by
our Romanian Development Team.
This technology can be used for an unlimited number of
server-to-server applications via a web browser and remote
scripts and crons, or crons on both servers.
Solution Center Enhancements
Multiple
Subscriptions - Wednesday May 5, 2004. Our system now
allows multiple subscriptions for a single subscriber.
Also included in this feature is the ability to assign
one of these subscriptions to a friend. You say, "What
value is this"? This allows you to provide a recurring
product/service to a friend, and allow you to pay for it.
Bulk Email Message- Wednesday May 5, 2004. From
Admin you can sent bulk email to subscribers. Unlike many
server-intense bulk email, ours does not burden the web
server (and time out) trying to send thousands of emails.
We build your message, let you review it + send test email,
and process later via a cron.
My Account Email OptOut - Wednesday May 5, 2004.
Subscribers can elect to remove their subscription from
annoying management bulk emails. Once selected, bulk email
will skip you.
Server-To-Server Interface
Monday April
26, 2004. Now under development, a fully automated interface
between Host and Remote servers using HTTPS_POST (HTRS).
This functionality initially will be used to configure game
servers (i.e., Quake) quickly when new customers signup
via the Host Website & PayPal.
Who can use our HTRS Interface? Anyone needing secure
and reliable Host-to-Remote or Host-to-Host Servers.
How does HTRS work? It uses open source OpenSSL
& NET-SSLeay. From a web page, ususally under https,
a post is made to a remote server; the remote server receives
the data, authenticates it, and sends a corresponding reply
back. The HTRS process can easily be used back and
forth between any number of servers &/or hosts.
Friday
April 23, 2004. Adding shipment of recurring gift product
to non-subscriber friends. What does this mean? You, a subscriber,
can signup a friend to receive product on a recurring basis,
example is RonaldsRecordClub.Com
- Your Personal Music Valet ».
Monday April 21, 2004. We
started to remodel our subscription applications to handle
multiple subscriptions per subscriber. This feature will
be used by both of our new PayPal - IPN - Subscription clients.
