Romania is an Eastern European country that is recovering after almost 50 years of communism.
Its economical structures are transforming from excessive centralization to market driven economy.
Fortunately the actual situation does not represent Romania's human qualities and resources.
For example, the educational
level is certainly a top-one. Romania has scientists and researchers
very well appreciated all over the world. Romanian Olympics
have always won gold medals at International Olympiads: physics,
chemistry, mathematics and computer studies.
All of these have already
made Romania something like a paradise for software outsourcing
companies and offshore development. Many of our customers
say that it's even better than India. In the last ten years
the technology infrastructures have improved and Romania is
now adjusted to international standards in communication,
computers, traveling, working environments.
But, first of all, the years
of communism and the lack of perspective that followed them
have created a huge resort of talents and motivation to compete,
to be successful. There are now several generations of young,
bright and motivated people who are continuously improving
themselves.
